I am deeply saddened by the passing of our founding father. He has devoted his life to build Singapore to the modern city. No words can be used to describe my gratefulness to Mr Lee Kuan Yew. He is an inspiration to everyone. From him, i have learn to always stay determine despite setbacks. My parents always me tell great tales about Mr Lee Kuan Yew. He is a great hero in my eyes. As everyone said, no other politician can ever replace him. Without his fighting spirit, we would probably still be a third world country. There wouldn't be so much education opportunities for every children. I am grateful of the good relationship Mr Lee has made with leaders from other countries so that students are able to have immersion programme and interact with people from other countries. I can enjoy my life peacefully without needing to worry about my basic necessities. There is always clean water coming out from the tap and i do not have to worry about starving. I am very lucky to be born in Singapore and having such a great leader.
